Student Services Associate for Virtual Campus
Franklin University has a position available for an Undergraduate Student Services Associate (SSA) to join our Virtual Campus team. Student Services Associates serve as the primary Academic Advisors for students, and are empowered to help students achieve their educational goals. This position is available to serve our distance students who are advised via campus visit, e-mail, webcasts, phone conversations and faxes.
Candidates must possess a strong customer-centered philosophy with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. They must have or develop an understanding of, and agreement with Franklin's relationship management principles and University values. This position requires working one night per week until 8 p.m. and an occasional Saturday. A bachelor's degree is required.
The ideal candidate will be goal driven by having an awareness of how numbers affect the business. Good computer skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required. Those with experience in sales, marketing, call center and/or virtual advising are encouraged to apply. Desired qualifications include typing 40-60 words per minute and experience with online courses.
